Have you ever thought about starting a food truck business? If yes, now’s your chance to learn the business through a workshop at NSU.
A Food Truck Workshop is set for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 520 University Parkway. Local owners Daryl “Sweetie” Walker and Trisha Walker of Sweetie’s Bar-B-Q & Blues House will share tips on planning, licensing, marketing, and daily operations.
Natchitoches Startup Weekend will be held on October 17-18 in the Varnado Hall Ballroom, located at 541 University Parkway. The event offers participants a chance to develop ideas, practice pitches, and compete for a $100 Visa gift card.
Both events are free.
