Fourth teen arrested in death of Grenada High School student

GRENADA, Miss. (WJTV) – A fourth teenager was arrested in connection to the death of a Grenada High School student.

The Yazoo Herald reported Ryan O. Spencer, was arrested by Grenada police on September 30, 2025. He was charged with accessory after the fact.

According to investigators, officers responded to a call on September 22, 2025, regarding an unresponsive person in the 700 block of Leigh Avenue. They discovered the body of Ayden Reno, 16, who was pronounced deceased by the coroner.

Police said three individuals were arrested on September 29, 2025, in connection to Reno’s death. They were identified as Lamarion Henderson, 18; Nickolus M. Brown, 16, and Zacarias L. Steward, 15. The suspects were charged with first-degree murder – deliberate design.

Delta News reported Reno was a student and a junior football star at Grenada High School.

The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information can contact the Grenada Police Department at 662-226-1211.
