University of Delaware Police investigating ‘potential campus safety incident,’ buildings evacuated

NEWARK, Del. (WPHL) — University of Delaware Police are investigating a “potential campus safety incident,” the university announced Tuesday afternoon.

According to officials, Gore Hall, Sharp Lab, and Mitchell Hall have all been evacuated out of an abundance of caution.

As of 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, it is not clear what prompted the evacuations.
