Delaware State University bomb threat evacuates buildings, cancels classes

DOVER, Del. (WPHL) — A bomb threat sparked evacuations at Delaware State University on Tuesday.

According to the university, the threat was received just before 11 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Out of an abundance of caution, Delaware State University evacuated academic buildings, canceled classes for the rest of the day, and dismissed non-essential university employees.

DSU Police says it is working with state and federal law enforcement to investigate.
