Report: Suspects admit to squatting in vacant Abilene home
Gabriel and David Baker were both taken into custody for Criminal Trespass in connection to the incident, which took place at a home on Shere Lynne Drive.
An arrest report states the homeowner called police to report she believed squatters were inside her vacant residence.
When officers arrived at the home, they found both Bakers inside. The report states they, “admitted to walking into the home and squatting for approximately three days.”
Both Bakers remain held in the Taylor County Jail on a $3,500 bond each.
