Pedestrian struck, killed on Paris Road early Tuesday

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The Louisiana State Police is investigating a fatal crash in New Orleans Tuesday morning, Sept. 30.

Around 4:20 a.m., New Orleans Police Department officers were called to the scene of a crash on Paris Road near the Green Bridge. That’s where officers learned a pedestrian had been struck by an 18-wheeler.

NOLA EMS pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
