NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Recreation Department has opened a new E-Sports Lab, a safe place for kids to play video games.
This is the fourth one in the city. It’s opened in New Orleans East, at Joe Brown Park. NORD said that while people normally associate it with outdoor sports, their goal is to offer E-sports as well.
The other E-Sports labs are in Algiers, Uptown and Mid-City.
