Joe McKnight’s mom talks son’s life and legacy ahead of New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame induction

METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) – Former John Curtis star Joe McKnight will enter the Allstate Sugar Bowl New Orleans Sports Hall of Fame Saturday evening.

The late Patriots running back won two state titles on the football field and, during his junior season, the Class AA state title in the 100-meter dash.

McKnight’s family will be in attendance, including his mother Jennifer and his son Jaiden, who will accept the award in his father’s honor.
