Amanda Beuchaw with Braum’s told 27 News the company is “cleaning up” three locations in Topeka this year. These sites are near the intersections of Southwest Huntoon Street and Southwest Gage Boulevard, Southwest Seventh Street and Southwest Topeka Boulevard and Southwest Burlingame Road and Southwest 37th Street.
Beuchaw said there isn’t a timeline set yet for when the company will start building new stores in these areas. Braum’s initially teased two new locations in Topeka and Lawrence back in 2024.
Braum’s opened its first location in Oklahoma in 1968, according to the company’s website. Since then, it has opened numerous other locations in Oklahoma and Kansas.
Customers can find classic fast-food meals alongside sweet ice cream treats at Braum’s stores. The chain also offers grocery shopping options through its Fresh Market Grocery Stores to give locals their choice of daily essentials and other products.
