Billed as the first MVPD to debut on Meta Quest, DirecTV’s VR app is available in the Meta Horizon Store and Meta Horizon TV. The experience lets users switch channels, monitor scores and interact with content in real time on a large virtual screen.
The app is available on Meta Quest 3 and 3S, Meta Quest 2 and Meta Quest Pro. It is open to all Meta Quest users, not just DirecTV subscribers, with access to free, ad-supported content through MyFree DirecTV.
Features include:
DirecTV’s programming options extend to VR with Genre Packs focused on interests like sports, movies and lifestyle; broader Signature Packages; and free streaming channels through MyFree DirecTV.
Users can get started by finding DirecTV in the Meta Horizon Store or Meta Horizon TV, downloading the app and signing in or creating an account.
