LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is in search of the driver involved in a Sunday hit-and-run crash that left a man seriously hurt.
Deputies said that around 4:30 a.m., crews responded to reports of a pedestrian struck by a car in the intersection of West Church Road and Magnolia Road in Sterling.
There, a man was found lying in the roadway and was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the striking vehicle drove off before deputies arrived.
According to deputies, multiple car parts found at the scene have indicated that the vehicle is a 2014-2020 Nissan Rogue, possibly gray, dark gray, or black in color.
Deputies add that the car potentially has damage to the driver’s side front quarter panel, driver’s side door, and potentially extending into the driver’s side front headlight and bumper.
Additionally, the car may be missing a driver’s side front wheel opening molding and outer mirror cover with a sensor.
