20-year-old killed in Loudoun County crash

LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — A 20-year-old man was killed after a Saturday crash in Loudoun County, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO).

Deputies say crews responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash at 7:30 p.m. in the 40500 block of Hidden Hills Lane.

An initial investigation determined that the car ran off the road and struck a tree.

The driver, Daniel M. Rivera, of Berryville, was rescued from the vehicle by bystanders but later died from his injuries in the hospital.

This crash remains under investigation, and anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has relevant information is asked to contact Detective Walsh at (703) 777-1021.
