Instacart study reveals California’s favorite Halloween candy

Halloween candy comes in every shape and flavor, but Californians rallied around a single classic when it came to picking their favorite, according to Instacart.

California and New Mexico were the only two states that chose Almond Joy as their top Halloween candy.

Candy Corn was the favorite in the Midwest and Southern states, while Sour Patch Kids took the top spot for the Northeastern states.

Life Savers proved most popular in the East and Southeast, with higher sales in Connecticut, Georgia, North Carolina, and Tennessee.

In Louisiana, Now and Later stood out as the runaway favorite, with residents buying the chewy classic at rates well above the rest of the country.

Nationwide, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups took the top spot once again. Peanut M&M’s and classic M&M’s rounded out the top 3, followed by Kit Kat and Snickers.
