Starbucks map shows Arkansas store closings

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A check of the Starbucks store locator indicates which Arkansas stores are set to close.

On Thursday, Starbucks announced it was laying off 900 employees and closing selected stores as part of a turnaround plan. Starbucks Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brian Niccol, said the company would be closing about 1% of its locations, ending the company’s fiscal year with 18,300 total Starbucks locations.

The company’s fiscal year ends Sunday.

The Starbucks location map shows operating hours for its stores for the next seven days. While Starbucks has not released a list of stores targeted for closure, its location map can be used to identify sites, with stores apparently slated for closure showing closed beginning Sunday and continuing through the coming week.

Stores showing closed on the Starbucks location map:

• In North Little Rock, the JFK & McCain location at 4282 JFK, and the Cypress & Broadway location at 418 E Broadway.
• The Jacksonville Hwy 67 & Vanderberg store, located at 2090 John Harden Drive, will be closed beginning Sunday.
• In Jonesboro, the Redwolf & Parkwood store at 2303 Red Wolf Blvd. will be closed after Sunday.
• In Paragould, the US 49 & US 412 store at 2303 W Kings Highway is slated for closure.

To double-check if your favorite Starbucks is on the closure list: Look up the store’s hours of operation in the Starbucks app or on the company website. If the store indicates it will be closed beginning Sunday and throughout the week, it is anticipated to be on the closure list.
