Police ticketing quotas ending in Ohio

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The ticket quota system for law enforcement in Ohio is ending.

Gov. Mike DeWine signed Senate Bill 118 into law on July 1. The bill’s approval by the governor makes a ticket quota system unlawful in the Buckeye State.

Although DeWine signed the bill over two months ago, it won’t go into effect until 90 days after signing.
