The Abilene City Council said their goodbyes to Deputy City Manager Mindy Patterson, who started as an accountant for the city and made her way to Abilene City Manager after Robert Hanna retired, and remained there while the city looked for his replacement.
“I’m a finance person at heart, but I have had immense joy in moving to admin to see how everything works, so thank you for allowing us to serve our city and see ya,” Patterson shared.
Patterson was with the city for more than 30 years and was born and raised in Abilene.
