Here’s when Merced Mall’s first new store is opening

MERCED, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Merced Mall’s renovation is nearly complete – the first new storefront’s grand opening is less than a month away.

The city says Burlington Coat Factory will be officially open on Oct. 10.

The new store is one of many replacing the old Sears, including: Five Below, Ulta, Petco, Rack Room Shoes, Bath & Body Works, and Mattress Firm. The rebranded building will be known as “Shoppes at Merced.”

The other part of the mall, now known as the “Marketplace at Merced,” is also getting ready to open new stores, including Vallarta Supermarket, Boot Barn, and Shoe Palace.
