This woman is missing and needs her medication, Madera County deputies say

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Deputies are asking for the community’s help finding a woman who they say is “at-risk” and needs her medication.

According to the sheriff’s office, 34-year-old Giovanna Melendez was last seen leaving 11201 Iowa Ave. in Madera County around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies say she requires medication, and according to her family, she cannot care for herself without assistance.

Melendez is 5 feet 4 inches tall and 185 lbs. She was last seen wearing a black shirt and black and white shorts.

Anyone who sees Melendez or knows her whereabouts is asked to contact the Madera County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at (559) 675-7770 immediately.
