Bay Area forecast: Friday brings sunshine

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Plenty of sunshine for your Friday with temperatures warmer than yesterday, climbing into the low 90s at the warmest inland.

Forecasters say the Bay Area coastline could see some clearing early Friday morning as drier air moves in behind the weather system that brought recent rain.

While skies brighten, the National Weather Service warns that fire weather risk will be elevated on Friday because of a mix of gusty winds and low humidity.

Into the weekend, the trend is cooler and cooler as the days go by. Next week looks especially cool and comfortable with inland highs falling into the 70s. There is a chance of showers most likely into Monday but possibly carrying into Tuesday and Wednesday.

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 7:01 a.m. Sunset is at 7:00 p.m.
