A low-pressure system off the California coast is bringing cooler-than-normal temps, thick clouds, and a slight chance of drizzle through Friday. The marine layer is unusually deep and patchy, leading to earlier clearing in some areas.
A coastal flood advisory is in effect from 9 p.m. Thursday to 2 a.m. Friday. Minor flooding is expected along the San Francisco and San Pablo Bay shorelines, especially near Richardson Bay, including Sausalito, Tam Valley, Manzanita, and the Sausalito-Mill Valley bike path.
