2 teens, one with loaded handgun, caught after ringing doorbells at SSF homes: police

(KRON) — Two teenage suspects — with one allegedly carrying a loaded gun — were taken into custody last weekend after going door-to-door to ring doorbells at several homes, said South San Francisco police.

Police said officers responded to Dolores Way after getting multiple calls.

“When officers contacted the teens, one 15-year-old was found concealing a loaded 9mm handgun in his waistband and in possession of Xanax pills,” said police in a social media post. “A second 16-year-old, already on probation, was also taken into custody for multiple violations.”

Police said one of the teens was later booked into San Mateo County Juvenile Hall due to the seriousness of the matter.
