West Nile Virus cases now at 7 in Georgia after another confirmation in Richmond County
AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – Another case of West Nile Virus has been confirmed in Richmond County, as of Wednesday, Sept. 24, according to Georgia Department of Public Health.

The recent case makes the total of seven cases in Georgia.

Symptoms for West Nile Virus can be mild to severe.

To help keep mosquitoes away, use repellent, trim grass and throw out any standing water.

Richmond County mosquito control offers free services to help at 311.
