The concert features Abbey Road, a Beatles tribute band, and Satisfaction, The International Rolling Stones Show. Both groups bring costumes, instruments, and stage presence to recreate the iconic sounds of the British Invasion.
“Music fans never had a chance to see the Beatles and the Rolling Stones perform on the same marquee,” said Chris LeGrand, who portrays Mick Jagger in a news release. “Now, music aficionados can watch this debate play out live on stage.”
The show is making its stop in Shreveport as part of a 125-date run across the U.S., Canada, and Australia, according to a new release. It also holds residencies at Harrah’s Casino properties.
During the two-hour performance, each band plays two alternating sets before closing with a joint encore. The production highlights fan favorites spanning the Beatles’ career and the Rolling Stones’ hits through the 1980s, according to a news release.
“There’s no question that the Beatles set the standard,” said Chris Overall, who performs as Paul McCartney in a news release.
Tickets are available through the Strand Theatre box office.
