APSO said the investigation began in April when the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation received a cyber tip about child sexual abuse materials being uploaded to a messaging app.

Investigators later executed a search warrant on Halliburton’s devices and found several video files showing child sexual abuse and animal abuse.

Halliburton is being held in the Ascension Parish Jail on a $265,000 bond as he awaits arraignment.
