Christopher John Lalonde, of Ville Platte, was arrested and charged with possessing child sexual abuse materials, officials reported.
A search was conducted at the 300 block of Tina Drive in Ville Platte, LA., by (ICAC) members of the Louisiana Internet Crimes against Children Task Force on Aug. 28.
During the investigation, Lalonde was identified as the resident who was using his personal social media account to procure and possess 110 items of Child Sexual Abuse Materials involving pubescent and pre-pubescent children, officials said.
Lalonde is currently being held in the Evangeline Parish Jail with a $350,000 bond.
The Investigation is ongoing, and the potential of more charges is possible, officials said.
