Search underway for missing Lincoln County man last seen in Gastonia: Sheriff

LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a man who was last seen in the Gastonia area.

Deputies said John Edward Hyatt was last seen leaving his house in Lincoln County in a black 1989 Jeep Grand Cherokee, with tag number LKY-5920, heading towards Gaston County.

His vehicle was last seen in the area of Radio Street and Wren Turnpike in Gastonia.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office at 704-735-8202.
