IDENTIFIED: Man pinned by forklift in Fresno County

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The man who died after a forklift landed on him last Friday has been identified by the Fresno County Coroner’s Office.

The coroner’s office identified the man as 35-year-old Salatiel Bermudez Boton of Bakersfield.

Boton was driving a forklift onto a trailer parked on the side of the road near Jensen Avenue and Valentine Avenue when he fell out and the forklift landed on top of him.

After being freed, Boton was transported to the hospital. He later died due to his injuries.
