Arrest made in connection with Branch and Roberts Cove vehicle burglaries

ACADIA PARISH, La. (KLFY) — A Church Point man was a arrested in connection with several vehicle burglaries in the areas of Branch and Roberts Cove, deputies said.

The investigation led to the arrest of Tyron Tenill Guidry, 48, of Church Point. Guidry was charged with three counts of vehicle burglaries, deputies said.

According to investigators, they believe Guidry would enter unlocked vehicles or break windows of vehicles.

Deputies said the investigation remains open regarding several other vehicle burglaries in the same area which Guidry is believed to be the suspect.
