The weekend of fun kicks off on Friday and runs through Sunday, featuring dozens of performances each day.
In addition to the star-studded stages, the festival will also feature dozens of food vendors with multiple vegan options and merchants.
This year’s event, which marks the 20th anniversary of the festival, is sure to be a big one as, after years of pestering, beloved TV uncle Stamos is set to join in on the fun for the first time this year.
Stamos isn’t the only one making a special appearance; Chicago’s Very Own Tom Skilling will deliver — via video link — the official forecast for the event.
The festival began back in 2005, bringing acts to venues around the city. It moved outdoors in 2012 before it eventually found its current home at Douglass Park in 2015.
Performances begin each day around noon, with the evening’s final performances by headline acts kicking off around 10 p.m.
Passes are still up for grabs for the event. Visit the RiotFest website to purchase tickets or to view a full lineup of artists.
