MCFRS: One rescued from overturned car on I-495

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — One person was rescued after a Sunday crash on I-495 in Montgomery County, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).

In a post to the X platform, firefighters said crews responded to reports of a crash around 5:30 a.m. on the I-495 beltway between Georgia and Connecticut Avenue.

There, a car could be seen flipped over with the person trapped inside, where crews later successfully removed the driver.

The driver’s condition has not been released.
