One hospitalized in Germantown crash

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — One person was hospitalized after a Friday crash in Germantown, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).

Crews were dispatched at 9:10 a.m. to reports of a two-car crash in the area of Forest Brook Road and Ebbtide Circle.

There, one car could be seen on its side, and crews rescued the driver who was trapped inside.

The driver was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, the MCFRS said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
