16-year-old fatally struck by car in Kensington

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A 16-year-old boy was killed after being struck by a car in Montgomery County on Sunday, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police.

Police said officers responded to reports of a pedestrian crash at 9:14 p.m. in the 3500 block of University Boulevard West.

An initial investigation determined that the teen was hit by a Nissan Murano, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

The driver remained on scene, police added.
