Auburn dropped from AP Top 25 college football poll

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WIAT) — Auburn is out of the AP Top 25 college football poll after earning a spot in it the past two weeks.

The Tigers were ranked No. 22 heading into its contest at then-No.11 Oklahoma. After Auburn fell, 24-17, the Tigers received 122 votes in Sunday’s poll. No. 25 BYU garnered 131 votes. Oklahoma moved up to No. 7.

The 3-1 Tigers are set to face No. 9 Texas A&M at Kyle Field on Saturday. Auburn started the season unranked but earned the No. 24 spot in Week 3 after downing Baylor and Ball State.
