NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting the left a man hospitalized.
According to NOPD officers, around 12:09 a.m. they were alerted to a shooting in the 2400 block of Montegut Street where a man had been taken to a hospital by EMS.

No further details are available at this time. The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
