Put on by Fright Planet, the first Scare at the Fair is bringing four haunted houses, rides, vendors and scary actors to Salem.
For 14 nights, between Oct. 10 and Nov. 2, the all-ages event will take over the fairgrounds, bringing some Halloween spirit for every kind of person.
The haunted houses, Distorted, Höbart’s Doll Factory, The Painted Ones and BLACKOUT, feature terror of all kinds as well as immersive storylines, according to the Oregon State Fair.
Alongside the haunts, Scare at the Fair will also have rides for the non-scary thrill seekers.
Tickets are required for unlimited access to the haunted houses and to access the rides, but the fairgrounds will be open for free.
Tickets are on sale now through the Scare at the Fair website.
Between Sept. 22 and 24, opening weekend tickets are being sold for only $13 before prices increase.
