The suspect behind a stabbing that left a woman in critical condition has turned himself in to authorities in Montana and will be sent back to Minnesota.
George Washington Harris, 42, of St. Cloud, will be extradited back to the Stearns County Jail, the St. Cloud Police Department said.
Harris has been wanted since Aug. 31, when St. Cloud Police were called to the 400 block of 19th ½ Avenue North, where a woman had been stabbed.

Officers said they found the woman and took her to the hospital, where she was declared to be in critical condition.
Harris was later identified as the suspect that same day, but Minnesota authorities were unable to locate him until he turned himself in.
At this time, the condition of the hospitalized woman is unknown.
