DELCAMBRE, La (KLFY) – The Burger Battle and Weiner Wars cookoff fundraiser benefiting Hogs for a Cause will be held Sept. 20 in Delcambre.

The local culinary competition will run from 11 AM to 8 PM and will take place at the Bayou Carlin Cove Boat Ramp & Pavilion.

Participants can compete in one or more of the featured food categories, including Traditional Burger, Non-Traditional Burger and Anything Goes Hot Dog. The entry fee is $50 per category, and competitors are expected to prepare entries on-site in accordance with the event rules.

In addition to the culinary competition, the event will feature a range of activities for attendees of all ages including live music, a live and silent auction, games and inflatable play areas for children.

Admission to the event is free, but food and beverage tickets will be available for purchase throughout the day.

The event is a fundraiser benefiting Hogs for the Cause, a nonprofit organization that supports families affected by pediatric brain cancer.
