Ashland shop sells $515k lotto winner
ASHLAND – A lottery player in Ashland won a hefty prize earlier this week.
The Pennsylvania Lottery says Smokin’ Joe’s Tobacco Shop on Centre Street sold a $515,706 winner in the Money Power Progressive game.
The shop wins a $5,000 bonus for selling the ticket.
Money Power Progressive, the lottery says, is a $20 Fast Play game offering progressive top prizes starting at $350,000. Fast Play games print on-demand from a Lottery sales terminal or self-service touchscreen vending terminal and are similar to Scratch-Off games, but without the need to scratch a ticket or wait for a drawing.
