A series of power outages strikes Fresno, leaving over 6,500 in the dark
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) —  Over 6,500 PG&E customers are without power following a series of unplanned outages on Thursday.

The outages began rolling in around 2 p.m. The largest was reported around 8 p.m. and immediately affected 1,337 customers west of the 99 along Belmont, Brawley, and Marks avenues.

Less than an hour later, 1,492 customers in Pinedale lost power. A few minutes after that, 762 more customers were affected between Fresno and Mono streets in Downtown Fresno.

As of 9:30 p.m., there are no estimated restoration times for any of the power outages. To view real-time updates, visit the PG&E Outage Center online.
