A critic meets a grandma on stage at Marigny Opera House

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — It’s dark, it’s caustic and it’s a comedy.

It’s “Critical Mass.”

On stage through Monday, Sept. 29 at the Marigny Opera House and WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is showing you to your seat.

It’s the regional premiere for the show. In it, the star is an artist, a mother and investigator of “life’s foibles.”

The costumers are crazy, the sets are constantly changing and the music, haunting.

It’s being staged by the Intramural Theater Company.

Founded in 2015, it’s a New Orleans theatre collective that features original scripts.
