THIBODAUX, La. (WGNO) — A Thibodaux man was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 18, in connection with a child sexual abuse material investigation.
According to the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office, 59-year-old Travis Cortez was arrested and booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex.
He faces 15 counts of child sexual abuse material under the age of 13.
Agents received the tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The arrest resulted from a joint investigation of the Louisiana Bureau of Investigation, the Thibodaux Police Department and the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office.
