PHOTOS: CFD crews battle 2-alarm fire in Roseland early Wednesday morning

CHICAGO — Chicago Fire Department crews battled a 2-alarm blaze in Roseland on the city’s South Side early Wednesday morning.

The fire was at 48 West 108th Place and crews had it under control by about 6 a.m., according to CFD, though they were still looking out for potential hot spots.

The fire caused significant structural damage, but CFD said no injuries were reported and nobody was transported to the hospital. SkyCam 9 was over the scene early Wednesday morning.

The road has been closed to traffic on 109th Street, from Perry Avenue to State Street, as crews put out the fire.
