A disturbance centered well to our east will bring a few isolated downpours across portions of far northeastern Utah. Any rain chance will mainly be confined to portions of the higher elevations to the east Wednesday afternoon.
Remnant tropical moisture will be working into the southwest over the next few days. This moisture will start moving near the Beehive state as throughout our Thursday afternoon. Looks like the best rain chance will remain just to our south, but clouds will be on the increase across parts of SW Utah Thursday afternoon.
This moisture will continue to build north, leading to a good chance for scattered showers & thunderstorms for SW Utah starting Friday morning, and going off and on throughout the day Friday. While this moisture will increase across the south, northern Utah will likely remain dry and sunny Thursday with just a few clouds on Friday.
A slightly higher chance for isolated showers and storms will be possible statewide over the upcoming weekend. Again, not expecting a washout or major rain event during this time.
High temperatures will warm back into the low to mid 80s over the next few days for the Wasatch Front, with highs going from the mid 90s into upper 80s as we move into the weekend.
