MANHATTAN (KSNT) – A longtime Manhattan business is being recognized in the local business community.

The 2025 Business Awards were announced in the Little Apple. Among them, the Bayer Construction Company, which has been involved in the community since 1935, won the “Cornerstone Award.”

“The community has provided us so much success,” Peter Clark, with Bayer Construction, said. “Success and longevity and the opportunity for a legacy here for the Bayer family that hopefully lasts another 90 years.” 

This was the 6th year for the Chamber’s business awards. 

The other award winners include:

Tourism Development Award: Museum of Art + Light

Other two nominees – McCain Auditorium and Manhattan Brewing Company

Entrepreneurial Spirit award: Flint Hills Ventures

Other two nominees – Complete Weddings + Events and RC McGraw’s Bar + Grill

Women/Minority Owned Business Award: Switch Wicked

Other two nominees: Companion Projects Media and Therapie

Small Business of the Year award: New Boston Creative Group

Other two nominees: Platinum & Company Beauty Bar and Washington Dance Studio

Business of the Year award: Addair Law
Other two nominees: Howie’s Trash & Recycling and Meadowlark
