People can participate by writing letters to Santa or adopting letters. Adopters will need to make an account and be ready for letter adoption. Adopters will be able to browse and select up to 15 letters to fulfil. Adopters can send gifts through the Gift Shoppe
The USPS reports that adopters can respond to letters however they’d like. It says some people fulfil one or two of the child’s wishes, while others may choose to give all the gifts the child asked for. The USPS says only new items are acceptable due to health and safety reasons.
“Hopeful as ever, kids do tend to wish big,” the USPS wrote on its website. “But just hearing back from Santa is a win!”
Packages must be under 70 pounds with a maximum combined length and width of 108 inches. You can read the USPS shipping guidelines by clicking here.
