The university says staff members found the deceased individual on campus, and that university police and local authorities were notified immediately to conduct an investigation.
All classes and Centennial events are canceled on Monday during the active investigation.
“Our community is deeply saddened by this loss. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family and friends impacted,” the university said.
The university is also offering counseling and support services to students, faculty, and staff through the O.W. Reilly Counseling Center.
