In the tropics, we’re monitoring a tropical wave in the eastern Atlantic that is starting to organize. Over the next week, it has a high chance of developing into a tropical system as it moves westward. For now, it is just something to monitor as it heads through the Atlantic and nothing that is a concern at this time.
Locally, our weather continues to be hot and humid each day with temperatures in the 90s and an isolated rain chance each afternoon. Little change is expected through the next week as the stagnant pattern continues with high pressure overhead.
