Missing man last seen on Far South Side may need medical attention: CPD
According to Chicago police, 28-year-old Grayland Williams went missing on Friday, Sept. 12.
Officers say Williams was last seen walking at a high rate of speed in the 11200 block of South Vincennes Avenue, in Morgan Park, on the city’s South Side.
The missing man, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs around 170 pounds, has brown eyes and black hair styled with medium-length twists.
Additionally, the missing man is known to have two tattoos. One depicts a pair of lips on the left side of his neck, while another on his chest depicts a heart.
Officers said the missing man may be in need of medical attention, as he has not been taking prescribed medication. Officers also said that while the missing man is able to speak, he is voluntarily not speaking currently, though it is unclear why.
Police say Williams is known to frequent areas near the 10600 block of South May Street, in the Far South Side neighborhood of Washington Heights, as well as the 100 block of Carriage Lane in Sauk Village, Illinois.
Details about the search were shared by police in a news release on Saturday, but officers did not say what led to the missing man’s disappearance.
