Milioto has been clutch on several fields of play, but some of his best work happens in the classroom, where he boasts a 4.0 GPA and a 27 on the ACT.
“I know if I don’t do what I need to do in the classroom, that I’m not going to be able to play college sports. So, I have to make sure that I get that part done, so that is an opportunity for me to do that. I make sure that sports and school are equally important to me,” said St. Charles Catholic kicker Tyler Milioto.
Tyler Milioto’s college plans are undecided, but his favorite sport is soccer, and he owns the Comets’ single-season scoring record.
In the fall, Milioto is a reliable kicker on the football team.
He’s responsible for several walk-off wins in his St. Charles Catholic career, and two of his favorites happened two years ago against Lutcher and in the semi-final round against University Lab.
“The Lutcher one, I live right across the street from there. So, I know most of the kids at that school. Also, I had just missed an extra point. So, that was the most pressure I felt because I had just missed the extra point before, which was the reason that we were down. The U-High one, that was a tie game, so there wasn’t as much pressure, but the other one, we were losing, and it was the last play. So, they’re kind of both up there. I’m not really sure which one is my favorite (laughter),” added Milioto.
