LPD responded to shots fired at a PCA Food Store after 1 a.m. on Sunday.
According to authorities, the victim, Barry Newell, went to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his leg.
The Criminal Investigations Division revealed that 23-year-old Devin Lindsey fired multiple shots from a firearm at Newell, striking him in the leg. Lindsey was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault and Possession of a Firearm during the commission of a felony.
The investigation also revealed that 23-year-old Caleb Ross was involved in the incident. He was charged with Aggravated Assault, Hindering the Apprehension of a Felon and Driving while License Suspended
Detectives arrested Ross on Wednesday and Lindsey on Thursday. Both men were taken to the Troup County Jail.
